Snow*
We had our first snow today… and it was beautiful. Even though I don’t really like being out in the stuff, I do think that it is beautiful to look at. I was a little sad that it came 3 days too late, but waking up to a winter wonderland was lovely. I’m in the middle of watching Dead Man’s Chest with the Hubster, so I don’t think tonight will be my in detail description of Christmas either. Man, I suck at blogging this week. Today my mother and law and the Hubster started me watching this really interesting show. It’s called Ghost Hunters and it’s all about this team…

Merry Christmas*
I haven’t been very good at writing this week, it’s simply been too busy. I don’t even think I turned my computer on yesterday, let alone have time to write in here. I don’t think my entry tonight will be long either as I am very tired and hope to be in bed fairly early. Let me begin by saying that Christmas was wonderful. I don’t think it could’ve been better. I spent several days with my family, ate entirely too much, sang carols, played games, ate some more and Teep even complained that Christmas sucked. It was perfect. :) We spent until this morning with my family, then after…

Still No Snow*
Well, it is December 23rd, and it has yet to snow. I was so hoping that because my parents live in the snow belt that it would snow for Christmas… but the weather reports are showing no snow until maybe Boxing Day at the very earliest. I may have my first ever green Christmas. I apologize for not writing yesterday… it’s the first day I haven’t written since beginning my blog. I simply did not have time, and was too exhausted to write before I went to bed. It’s been go go go since arriving here, and I absolutely love it. Yesterday was filled with shopping, errands and baking with…

Missing My Hubs*
I left my cozy little home this morning to come and spend a couple of days with my family before the Hubster comes to spend Christmas. He can never spend more than a day or two here because he is allergic to cats and my parents have a very active one. It’s hard because I love spending time with my family and I always feel that such a quick trip is never adequate. So I usually come a couple of days in advance and he comes up later. However I always find those days in between unbearably long. It’s incredible how much I miss him when he’s not with me.…

Chocolate*
So I have come to a horrible, horrible realization… my skin hates chocolate. This is quite a problem because the rest of me (except perhaps my waist and hips) LOVE it. And by love, I mean love. I know there are people out there who can do without it, and I am definitely not one of them. I wouldn’t say I’m so addicted that I have to have it after every meal, or even every day, but I love it in things. Brownies… chocolate chip cookies… etc etc. And I’ve made the painfully difficult decision to drastically cut back for the sake of clear skin. *sigh* Shop Girl*
