Help?
Oh my lovelies, I had the most glorious weekend. In included chocolate, sushi, family time, movies, walks, sunshine, summer tires, nieces, nephews, yard saling, learning how to drive standard, cowboys, Muskoka, old fashioned markets, sleep-ins, uplifting messages, family dinners, a new dresser and so. much. more. Oh, and a long-overdue family photo with my siblings +Mom & Big Dad. Aren’t we hot? I’m going to pretend that it didn’t take us a million tries to take a half decent picture. We may or may not be a bit silly. Or something. I also love that Teep decided to look so tough there in the middle. I’m not quite sure what…

Stand By Me*
The other day I thought I’d try and impress Big Dad with a couple of my favourite Flash Mob videos online. He got a good laugh and enjoyed what I showed him… …then he totally one-upped me with a video that I’ve since watched about 10 times. When Big Dad comes to play he brings out the big guns. Check out my new favourite video: Stand by Me – Street Performers* Happy Easter!! :)

Fabulous Finds: The Dresser*
I love Saturdays in the spring and summer. Wanna know why? YARD SALING. This morning Mom, Spart and I got up (not-so) early and braved a cold, rainy morning to go on our first yard sale adventure of 2011. We piled into the car and headed out with our list. The first few we found were total busts. I was almost ready to call it quits until we came across a small garage sale that looked like it had a few interesting items. My mom found a cute clock for 50 cents, and Spart found a great little DVD/CD shelf for $5. And then I saw this: I loved it…

Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner?
I love my family. We have so much fun together, and I love hanging out with my brothers and sisters AND my parents. Seriously. How many people can say that and mean it? Tonight my mom made dinner for Doodle, Teep, M, Big Dad and I. (It was a fabulous chicken stew with biscuits, in case you were wondering.) During dinner we began talking about some of our individual plan for our respective lawns and were asking Teep for some advice. He has worked as a landscaper in the past and is a bit of a “Garden Guru”. Doodle, Mom and I were all wondering about costs and needs to…

An Un-Thrifty Thursday*
Hi dears, I’ve decided not to do a Thrifty Thursday post this week. It has been a crazy few days… As you know, I wrapped up my course on Monday. The last three days have been a whirlwind of packing, organizing and work. Our little apartment is slowly being devoured by boxes, but it still feels like there is so much to do. I didn’t get any time to go shopping this week, and most of my purchases from earlier weeks are all packed away in boxes, which leaves this particular Thursday decidedly un-thrifty. Sorry, loves. As it is, I’m also up in B-town with my family for Easter. I…
