One Sleep*
I found all these really need new gismos to add onto my blog! I’m really quite excited about it. I like little extra things! I added a guestbook, so please feel free to leave me lovely messages in there if you don’t feel like commenting on one of my posts! Oh, and I found this really neat Calender, so please go in and add your birthdays and any other significant events you think I should know about!! Please don’t use any personal information as I like to keep this clear of anything too personal. I’m still not secure about putting personal information out on the internet… it still seems creepy to me. Make code names. They’re funnier anyway. haha
Anyway, today was a good day. The Hubster and I slept in quite late to catch up on all the late night/early mornings I’ve been keeping lately in order to complete my never-ending essays. We spent a lazy morning then I went to work for 4 hours, and actually really enjoyed it! I liked being able to come home in time for dinner and not having to go through the closing routine. And I got to work with [AJ], who is probably my favourite person to work with at this point. She never ceases to make me laugh, and we always have awesome conversations. Work is fun with AJ. :)
I’ve been working for the company for 4 years now, in 2 different locations. I’m just getting tired of all the monotony… I’m so glad that it’s only temporary. I know I couldn’t do this for the rest of my life. I LOVED working in the first store, I was really tight with Big D and [Super Boots], who is probably one of my favourite people EVER. I could write a whole entry on her ridiculousness and the chaos we caused together. I miss her a lot. She gave me the nickname Hot Pants*, which came as a close second to my choosing Shop Girl*. haha
So, work was fun, and I got to come home and make a good dinner. I had a quick chat with Peeah about Mom & Dad’s big gift. We’re still trying to sort everything out… it’s difficult because we all live in different cities now. But hopefully we’ll work something out. I definitely have not yet studied for my exam tomorrow, but I plan to as soon as I finish writing, and it’s not until 2pm tomorrow, so I’ll have tomorrow morning as well. I’m not terribly worried about it. It’s only worth 10%.
Well, I probably should glance at my notes before I head to bed tonight. So I’ll leave you with a phrase I saw on a church sign yesterday that I really liked:
“He/She who kneels before God can stand before anyone.”
