so tired…*
I am tired. It’s been a verrrrrry long day. It started off with a bang when we woke up to no hot water and I enjoyed a lovely FREEZING cold shower. Lovely. Thankfully, it brightened significantly when I received an essay back with a glorious mark of 80%. The paper was worth 35% of my overall grade, so am THRILLED. :) I was able to come home around 5, only to face a mountain of laundry and dishes. After 5 loads of laundry and 2 loads of dishes the apartment looks significantly better. The Hubster came home as I was cleaning and pitched in, which really helped. I then baked…

Sundays*
I like Sundays. I never have to work, and once we’re home from church we basically just have the rest of the day to ourselves. Today we came home, and while The Hubster hung out with Too Cool I had a fantastic nap. I LOVE napping. I think I even prefer it to actual sleeping! haha… we also had the missionaries over for dinner tonight, and it was a dang good meal. Sometimes I surprise myself with my cooking!! The Hubster is out with Too Cool for a couple of hours so as I was sitting in our little home enjoying the quiet, I thought I’d sit for a minute, write in here, and avoid my essay just a little longer. I’m really enjoying having a place to write… it’s something I really miss. I used to be a very dedicated journal writer, but somewhere along the way I lost track and no matter how hard I try I just can’t get back into it. Even though I feel that handwritten…

December*
I can’t believe it’s already December… as excited as I was to rip open my advent calender, it still hasn’t really hit me that it’s almost Christmas. Maybe that’s because it hasn’t snowed yet… right this minute it is pouring rain outside. It’s really gross. This is the first December 1st that I can remember that there has been no snow. As much as I hate the stuff, it really helps put me into Christmas mode. My tree is currently under construction… I started putting it up last Thursday night and got as far as the lights and garland, when I realized I didn’t have nearly as much of either…
