I didn’t want to let the first of April go by without at least posting something… so here I am. :) Today was… blah. I received my first rejection letter from teacher’s college last night so I’m waiting to hear from the other two. It wasn’t my first choice so I’m not TOO broken up about it.. but it’s never nice to get those. My application was deemed ineligible because apparently I was missing something. Easter Nachos*
I’ve had a relatively busy day, but I wanted to write a quick update before I embark on my essay for the evening (due tomorrow). Luckily it’s only 4 pages (so it’s really more like a paragraph) and it’s on poetry which is fairly easy to analyze. It might be a late night though. :) Church was… interesting. The talks were focused on the Saviour and on the atonement which was really nice. The last one was a touch long (the meeting ran 25 minutes overtime) but we survived. Formal*
Last night was my university’s formal and I had SUCH a good time. I went quite early to help decorate a little as Dee needed a hand with the table center pieces, and I LOVE doing things like that. So I was there for an hour or two then headed back to Dee’s to do my hair as it takes me FOREVER because I have the world’s thickest hair. *sigh* It’s fun to get all dolled up every once in a while though… I feel like such a bum at school most of the time because I usually slap on a pair of jeans & a sweatshirt and away I…

Fridates and Saturdates*
Today has been a gloriously full day. This morning I got to sleep in alllll the way until 8:15 which was FABULOUS (I’m usually up at 6:30am every day). Because our March Break is next week today was a PA day at my school so I didn’t have to teach, and I get next week off as well. I felt as though I should be productive on my morning off, so I cleaned my kitchen, dusted the living room, tidied things up and the Hubster helped me do 5 loads of laundry. Yes, five. I SURVIVED. Beginning last Tuesday, I have had the week from hell. I don’t ever remember a time in my academic career that I’ve had so much due in a 7 day period. Let’s review: Monday: Big motha essay due (Nazi medical experimentation)Tuesday: Presentation.Wednesday: Two assignments due en Francais.Thursday: Research presentation.
