    If you live in B.C., you will die.

    This is the conclusion that I have arrived at. If you’ve been reading CBC.ca at all in the past week or 2, I think you’d agree. Almost every time I load the news, there is a new headline about someone who has been shot (or died in some other way) somewhere in B.C. For example, today there is a story about a suspicious death in the Lower Mainlands, or the gang-style murder in Surrey that police have been investigating over recent weeks. So really, what other conclusion could I possibly come to? …exactly. None. I wonder what it is that makes people so crazy out there… there must be something…

    Never a dull moment…

    This sounds terrible, but I’m usually a little less enthusiastic about attending testimony meetings in my ward than I am about going on any ol’ Sunday. We have a very …eccentric… ward that’s chalk full of old people who love to tell the same stories that have no point every Sunday. We are definitely one of those wards where the same people get up evvvvvvvery week. However, today the Hubs and I arrived to find the chapel full of people we didn’t recognize.     So. As I said, last weekend I took a trip to the great white north with Spart and Mom, and while we were there, Spart, Soupy and I embarked on a photo tour of our little hometown in an attempt to capture “SoPo” in all its glory.     This past weekend I went on a roadtrip adventure with Spart and Mom to the great white north… and I will eventually blog about it once things settle down as I took some photos that you simply MUST see.
