    Yo Mamma!

It’s been a busy day but I wanted to leave you with a little something. I’m on the lookout for fun personalized license plates. I found this one recently and fell in love. Best of all–it’s parked outside a senior’s building. haha!! Seen any good ones lately? Shop Girl*

    Canada D-eh?

I thought I’d be clever with my little name there. Heh. Well, here we are again. First things first–to all my Canadian readers: Happy Canada Day!! I celebrated over the weekend with Gene and Pog in the Great White North… up there they have a big celebration at the lake with fireworks, live music and all sorts of exciting things. It was glorious! My trip north was wonderful… I had a lovely visit with Grammy and finally had a chance to really reconnect with Gene, whom I have missed terribly these past few years. New Hair*

This is my favourite hair pose apparently. I took these yesterday… and realized that it is the same pose for most of my “I just got a new haircut” pictures. So. I’ll simply have to find a new blogging time, that’s all! Work has been good! It’s just really tiring… sort of. Sitting in the sun reading books isn’t really terribly strenuous, but adjusting my body to being outside so much really is. I can’t believe how exhausted I am after sitting outside for 8 hours! I haven’t been…

    Strawberry Shop Girl*

I have a job. :) And not only do I have a job–I have the BEST job. I wasn’t sure if I would / wanted to work this summer… I was so completely burnt out when school ended in April that I needed a break in every sense of the word. Note to self: never ever ever try and work 2 jobs, go to school full time while volunteering several hours a week EVER again. That’s not to say that I didn’t apply for some… between April and May I probably applied to 25 – 30 places for a summer job. However, Senior’s City is apparently the most difficult city…
