    The Uniboob*

The origin of this concept actually goes all the way back to grade 10; way back to my good friend Kyddo* and her grey zip up sweater. One particularly cold day in grade 10 when our old school was more drafty than usual, Kyddo decided to zip her sweater all the way up–past the traditional half-zip, all the way up to her chin. As she slowly warmed up she glanced down at her chest only to realize there was something not quite right with the zipper on her sweater. The zipper curved out, leaving an enormous bulge on her chest… creating the appearance of “The Uniboob“. The zipper somehow made…

    Hair Rules*

I cut my hair today. I have long very thick not quite curly but not quite straight hair that often drives me nuts, but for the past couple of years I somehow became a bi-annual hair chopper. I had it in my head that if it wasn’t six months since my previous hair cut, I didn’t need a new one. Hah. I cut my hair in early December at a salon I know (and trust) in Btown. Spontaneous Dancing*

Today was a disaster. Not so much so that I’d call it an utter complete failure of a day, but enough so to make me question my abilities of classroom management (aka: making sure the kids don’t kill each other… or me). Let’s Talk Idol*

Let’s talk American Idol. I don’t normally do this–I try and keep my television obsessions closeted, but I cannot contain myself. I have been watching American Idol for years. I am by no means a professional singer, but I used to perform a bit locally and I love watching it and seeing what people can do. The past few years I watched, but was never in love. Then 2009 rolled around and… I LOVE THIS SEASON! Well, most of it. First things first, I love the new judge. Kara DioGuardi is fabulous and she seems to balance out some of Paula’s craziness. They have also made some new interesting changes…

    25 Things*

If any of you are Facebook users, you have no doubt been tagged in a “25 things” note, or have at least seen your friends completing them. For some reason, this particular note caught fire and the whole world jumped on the bandwagon and tagged all their friends… I myself was tagged by 21 different people. Holy toot. It became so big that people began commenting on the phenomena outside of Facebook and some excellent work has come forth. I found this fabulous blog entry from a new blog I discovered from the fabulous new site I’ve discovered!! If you enjoy reading blogs, you reeeeally need to take a look…
