Today, I Hate*
Warning: this post will be full of venting. Today:I hate… school. I hate… being a student. I hate… the subjects that I’m majoring in. I hate… not doing well in my classes. I hate… not being motivated to do well in my classes. I hate… that I’m so busy. I hate… that being a student and working 2 jobs prevents me from doing fun things. I hate… “required readings”. I hate… being broke. I hate… all things to do with a student lifestyle. I hate… that I may potentially have to take a 5th year. I hate… not knowing if I’ll get into teacher’s college for another month and a…

Weekend Adventures*
The Hubster and I have had a very full, but nice weekend. On Friday I had a busy day of work and errands. I’ve been fighting to get books for a class I’m taking and so have been checking the library every morning to get the books that have been returned the previous day. So, we fight. Anyway, I got my books (I’m writing an essay about Nazi science and doctors for my German History course) and…

Let me begin: for the past several weeks I’ve been especially busy. I’m still working, my essay season is in full force, and we just had our annual literacy conference this past Saturday, so there has been much planning/work involved in that. Not mention trying to balance time with the Hubster, friends and church responsibilities. January was a little busy to say the least. The conference on Saturday was a HUGE success. We advertised SO much better than last year and…

Wipeout*
Last night the Hubs and I went to Price Chopper quickly to grab something for dinner on our way home from school. We had about 10 minutes before the bus came, so we were walking quickly to the store in order to have enough time to buy something and leave. Our Price Chopper has 2 drive in entrances, though one is classified as an “entrance” and the other as an “exit”. For pedestrians, the “exit” entrance is probably a better choice– it is less busy and it’s on level ground. However, it’s a further walk and is usually covered by groups of some of our city’s ‘finer’ youth who kind…
