Winter is Not My Friend*
I do not like winter. There are certain aspects of the winter months that I enjoy, such as the way snowflakes looks in streetlights when it snows at night, or the way the air feels right before the very first snowfall, but on a whole I have decided that winter is not my friend. The past few days in Senior’s City have been brutally cold. It was a chilly -26°C here yesterday, which translates into -14°F or so for anyone south of the Canadian border. To give you a visual, my hair and eyelashes froze on the 5 minute walk across campus yesterday morning… I’m talkin‘ icicles in the hair…

Snow Day*
Sometimes I think Hippie U is just out to spite us. I woke up this morning to an absolute winter wonderland–there was a foot of snow on the ground and huge flakes of snow were swirling down from the sky. When I saw how much snow was coming down, I thought, “Surely today must be a snow day!” Sure enough, when I checked the website that monitors weather conditions for the local public and catholic school boards, I saw that every single elementary and high school in the region had closed for the day. So, I couldn’t help but wonder… would Hippie U do the right thing and close down…

Not So Impressed*
Okay. Let’s talk about how unimpressed I am right now. We all know I’m the world’s best procrastinator (as I am here writing in my blog instead of doing the TWO assignments I have due tomorrow HA) and I have left my work until the last minute. Fine. I always get it done though… I have never ever not handed in an assignment, and I abhor handing in things late. I may leave it, but it always gets done. So this afternoon when I get home from my workshops already not feeling terribly great I find an email from my not-so-lovely prof announcing that she’d like us to add on…

The Sky is Vomiting*
Well, I am determined to end my posting drought so I decided to come here and let you all know that the sky is VOMITING. In OCTOBER. Ugh. (for those of you who weren’t reading last winter that means that it is snowing outside.) It started this morning and hasn’t stopped yet… but it’s not even staying on the ground. It’s just the really gross, wet, slushy kind that makes the roads bad after dark. *sigh* Is it too early to start wishing for a snow day? haha Shop Girl*

Page Not Loading?
Hello dear readers, I just came across some troubling information–I learned that my blog is not loading properly for someone and in fact often crashes when she tries to load it. Is this happening for anyone else?!! Or is the page taking a reeeeally long time to load?
