Park Pilfering*
I had an interesting experience at the park last week. I wasn’t going to even write about it as it is such a small thing, but something about it is still bothering me a little and I guess I’m curious to know what you think. After P’s hives finally subsided, I wanted to take my stir-crazy children to the park. I let S choose which one, and she chose the park closest to her school, where several of the local day care providers frequent with their charges. Finding Time to Run*
I really want to start waking up earlier to run in the mornings before M leaves for work. I’m finding it really challenging to find time to exercise in the afternoons / evenings now as our lives just feel so full. It’s all good, glorious things, but it’s just… full. And I need to exercise. Both for my physical health (which is in a sad, sorry state) and my mental health. I know that I could exercise with the kids–and we do go on walks, etc–but more and more I’m realizing that I need some time every day just for me. I’ve managed to get out for a few runs…

It comes in threes, right?
I can’t believe we’re already into July. The last month flew by–it was a whirlwind of end of school year activities, park playdates and back to back to back illnesses for Prince P. I was sick for most of May, and P was sick for most of June.
