    Footprints*

    I have always loved this poem… and I hope you do too! One night a man had a dream. He dreamed He was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from His life. For each scene He noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One belonging to Him and the other to the LORD. When the last scene of His life flashed before Him, He looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of His life there was only one set of footprints.     HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!

    Yep! It’s true! It’s my mom’s birthday!! I’m a little sad that I can’t be home with my family to celebrate– I’m pretty sure that in my 21 (almost 22) years this is the first of her birthdays that I’ve missed. But I just called her and she sounded like she had a glorious day so I’m content with that. And I also bought her a John Wayne DVD set with like a millllllion movies on it which pretty much makes me the best kid EVER.
