Maybe. Just maybe. My family takes a trip to Florida every year on March Break, and as I am now a university student, my break comes in February and I can’t go because March Break is in the middle of essay season. Drat. I haven’t been in 2 years. However, this year, I may have an opportunity to go. My biggest hesitations for going are: a) I’m missing a week of classes, and b) I’d be leaving the Hubster on his own for a week. I was supposed to go in for my first day of tutoring today at my school but the principal called me bright and early to ask me if we could reschedule. As excited as I am to not have to go all the way down there (it’s a bit of a trek) I’m also a little disappointed as I’d like to get started. I haven’t even met with the teacher’s yet because one has been away sick. So hopefully I’ll get in there next week. Last night we had a lovely impromptu dinner with Dee and her brother [Runner]. Well, I didn’t move this week. Mind you, I’ve had a reeeeally busy week/weekend and haven’t had much time for anything, so I’ll make that my excuse. I suppose it’s better to stay at the same weight than to go up though. Anyway, I went to write this afternoon and my internet died. We just got it back a few minutes ago. So, here I am. I didn’t do much today– it was bloody cold out so I stayed in all day. The Hubster has class for most of the day so I use my Mondays to get a lot of my cleaning/laundry done for the week, and I try…

Busy Weekend*
I haven’t posted since Wednesday? Tsk tsk tsk. I’ve been slacking! Well, I’ve actually been really busy. Thursday is my insane school day where I am on campus from 10am-10pm, and I had my training at the school board on Friday! I’m very excited to start this tutoring program. I didn’t realize that I’d actually be teaching, of sorts. I have a lesson manual and books for my students (I’ll be working with 6 at a time) and I work with them for 2 hours. I think this will be an awesome experience for me. I’m pumped. Today I worked at Payless for the first time in 6 weeks. haha……

Well, I’m down another half pound. I am the queen of slow weight loss. haha Mind you, I haven’t been good with the whole exercise portion of it, although I am determined to do my pilates this morning. I had a really good weekend– Saturday was Dee’s birthday so I was with her for the majority of the day! In the morning we went and volunteered at a family literacy day downtown and I was SO impressed with the turnout. I think we had the best booth by far… we just got to stand there let every kid who walked past pick out a free book. They were SO excited.…
