    The Death March*

    Meet Peeah. This is my oldest sister. She is five years older than me, and we’re quite a bit alike in many ways. We both share a deep hearting of shoes and all things pink (and black). Like all members of my family, she has a great sense of humor–but every once in a while she struggles to see the humor of something… like the story I’m about to tell you. She wasn’t very happy with me. haha! About a year ago I went to spend a few days with my family. I often leave a few days ahead of the Hubster so that I can get a good visit…

    Undergrad = COMPLETE*

    Sooooo…… you know who is no longer an undergraduate student? GUESS. ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday, April 19th, at 4:03pm I handed in my last undergraduate exam ever and completed my degree. I cannot even describe the euphoria I felt as I walked out of the athletics complex (where the exams were held) and out into the beautiful, beautiful sunshine knowing that I never ever ever have to write a 38 page essay again. *swoon* It still hasn’t completed sunk in that there is nothing left to do, but I cannot wait for that feeling. I’m hoping it will come tomorrow after I leave work and don’t have to go to class, or…

I can attest that this week has been really busy for me and my new project is eating up a bunch of my free time! But without further ado… …this is the story of how the Hubster and I met, fell in love and got married within 8 months… …and lived happily ever after* The next week together flew by. The night after I wrote my ‘classic journal entry‘ (as the Hubs calls it) he came out to visit me…

    Quick Update*

    I’m sorry I haven’t been updating every day–it’s been a really busy couple of days! I’ve been studying for my last exam tomorrow (SO EXCITED) and working as well. This week was my last week for my job at the university, but I’ll continue teaching for another couple of weeks. I’m also still on the hunt for a summer job. *sigh* However, I’ve also been working on a project that I’ve wanted to do all year and only just now have had a bit of time to devote to it. I hope to have it completed to share with all of you within the next few days–I promise I’ll let…

    The Llama Theory*

    I had a number of people ask me about what a “3 llama day” was, as I claimed Monday to be one. So let me explain the llama theory to you… it’s really quite lovely. Almost two years ago, someone I know once explained it to me and ever since I’ve become absolutely addicted. You see, in my little city full of senior citizens we also have a quaint little zoo. It’s not a full-sized super exciting zoo like they have in the city, but it’s cute, and absolutely free. Inside there are monkeys, camels, donkeys, otters, buffalo, and among other things, llamas. I’ve never found them to be particularly…
