Also, Neely of A Complete Waste of Makeup is hosting a FABULOUS giveaway! To celebrate the milestone of reaching 300 followers, she’s giving away a $50 gift card to your choice of one of the following places: Target, Starbucks, Sephora, Anthropologie, LuluLemon, or Banana Republic. Home Days*

I had such a lovely (albeit cold) day. I think there was a problem with our heat last night. The Hubster and I always joke that we live in a “sauna house”. Our apartment building is heat-controlled, so the building manager sets it for us and it’s usually a balmy 25 – 28°C in here. (I think there is an older lady upstairs that complains whenever it’s too cold.) Sarah’s Key*

Have you entered Steph’s contest to win a $25 gift certificate yet? Tonight was book club night. Sometimes I’m still a little floored that my mad plan actually worked. Looking Forward: 2011*

After a wonderful week with my family, I’m finally home. My house is a disaster, the laundry’s not done and I’m not entirely unpacked–but I’m home. I loved every minute of my holidays and am so glad we had an extended stay with my mom and dad. I haven’t been home for that long since I got married, and it was great just to “hang out” with the fam. Dad introduced us to new John Wayne movies, Mom made wonderful dinners and looked after us, and I destroyed rearranged their basement. Even though I love our little apartment, it was great to spend the time with them… and I’m glad…

    The Anniversary: A Recap*

Just a bit of housekeeping first–I’ve been making the rounds through many of your lovely blogs. I’m going to be MUCH better at leaving comments and love now that I have two weeks off to enjoy a bit of relaxation and I can’t wait to catch up on all your news. I’ve just noticed something… when I switched my blog to WordPress in March the Hubster rigged it so that technically my blog address stayed the same (http://blog.iheartmyshoes.com). However I noticed that in some of your blog rolls it appears that I haven’t updated in 5 months and it shows that my last entry was the last entry I wrote…
