I Did It!!
As I sit down at my desk with my laptop to write I can’t help but shift my eyes to the window every three seconds to watch the snow. For the first time in a long time, I actually think that the snow looks really really pretty. It’s not blowing sideways and it isn’t so thick that I can’t see the buildings across the street. There are just these enormous flakes falling, gently covering absolutely everything in an endless sea of white. It looks like Christmas snow. :) Well, it’s January 31st, and this is my 34th post for the month! This is the first time in my 3 years…

HOORAY!!!!!
I FOUND MY STUDENT CARD!!! I checked at the downtown bus terminal on Monday, but they told me they didn’t have it, so I thought that was that. I had presentations, lesson plans, essays and midterms all due. I handed my last three assignments this afternoon after sleeping only 2.5 hours last night…I was up until 4:30am, and up again at 7am trying to get everything done. I feel like my whole body has been run over with a truck, and I am…

Teacher Shop Girl*
I become Teacher Shop Girl* on Monday.:) I’ve been working in a school as a tutor for the past 6 weeks and it’s been AWESOME, but I’m so excited to actually get into a classroom and start teaching. As it turns out, I’ll be teaching a grade 10 applied English course and I am SO excited. Now you’re probably wondering why I would pair this post with a picture of Billy Idol. Wellllllll that’s because I’m freaking working with him! Well, not really, but I swear it’s my associate teacher could be his double… haha! When [Mr. Idol] walked into the office to meet me I was sooo shocked. He…
