Addicted to Mormon Mommy Blogs*
I’ve started a new photo album on my Facebook page for my thrift store adventures! I’ll post photos of me wearing my finds there! I wore my new Steve Madden boots to church today and took a photo before we ran out the door this morning. Become a fan and check them out here: Shop Girl* Last night I found an amazing article about a young, feminist atheist who is addicted to Mormon Mommy Blogs. It’s hilarious, provocative and thoughtful, and as I am a “Mormon Blogger” myself, I absolutely loved it. Trust me, it’s worth a read. Why I can’t stop reading Mormon housewife blogs I’m a young, feminist atheist who…

The Pink Glove Dance*
I love dancing. There is just something about dance that speaks to me, and I’ve always wished that it had been something I had pursued as a child. I’m not a terribly fabulous dancer, but I’m no Elaine either. (How does she even do that with her foot?!?! LOVE.) I have always, always loved watching dance–live or on TV. So You Think You Can Dance is preeeetty much my favorite thing ever in the summer, and I have even been known to tune into ballroom dance competitions when I can find them. And, of course, I heart le Youtube for all it’s dancing glory. It’s through Youtube that I’ve discovered…

I Fibbed*
(via: http://www.tvworthwatching.com/werts/white%20christmas%20tv.jpg) Remember that time when I told you that Christmasy things weren’t going to happen in my house until December first? How I was going to wait this year? Well, I made it to November 19th. (which really is like an insane record for me as I have begun listening to Christmas music in August in past years. I like Christmas. Don’t judge.) And really, it wasn’t even really my fault. I had had a really crazy stressful week, felt like a terrible sister for bailing on a road trip I was supposed to go on and I needed a little Christmas to make things better. So, after a…

Spontaneous Dancing Part II*
Okay. I KNOW I have already posted today but I just discovered a new blog (Suburban Euphoria) that I am reeeeally enjoying and Erin (the author) posted the most AMAZING thing. As you know, I love dance. Not like, love. And you know what I love even more? Spontaneous dancing, even then not-so-spontaneous kind. You know what else I love? Musicals. I own the entire Rogers & Hammerstein collection as well as a variety of other classics. (I’ll make a connection soon, I promise)When I saw the first T-Mobile dancing commercial my heart flip flopped and I wanted to be in one SO BADLY but I settled for watching the…

Take the Test*
I feel like I just signed my entire life away. haha Today I attempted to be productive and spent the entire afternoon updating my license and health card information with our new address (but I still have to go in for the new picture… ugh), completing my passport application and fixing up the ol’ summer job résumé. I found a job that I reeeeeeally want right across the street. I think it’s destiny. I shall apply for said job tomorrow. It’s a secretarial job at a medical office which means sweet hours — no evenings or weekends — and a professional work environment (no more mothers coming in with all…
