…Maybe*

Maybe. Just maybe.

My family takes a trip to Florida every year on March Break, and as I am now a university student, my break comes in February and I can’t go because March Break is in the middle of essay season. Drat. I haven’t been in 2 years. However, this year, I may have an opportunity to go. My biggest hesitations for going are: a) I’m missing a week of classes, and b) I’d be leaving the Hubster on his own for a week. I know I’d go crazy here on my own for a week, and I kind of feel like I’d be abandoning him. He doesn’t have an interest in going or missing school…. but he has been encouraging me to go so that I can spend some time with my family. I don’t know what to do. I’m kind of maybe sort of considering it… does that make me a horrible wife? haha I know that if I did go I wouldn’t be able to afford anything, I’d basically be spending the week soaking up the sun at my grandparents 5 star resort (which I have no complaints about, might I add…), but it would be soooooooooooooooooooooo nice to go.

I don’t know. Maybe.

Anyway, Mom found my blog! I started up my recipe blog which is now called Faaaaabulous Food* and can be found HERE, and I invited her to be an author on it! If you would like to be able to post recipes on it, please let me know and I’ll add you as an author. So, I sent her an invite and sent her a link to view my real blog and she did! I’m so excited! I’ve really grown to love writing in here… I hope you’ve grown to love reading it!

As for my daily junk, church was actually almost normal today. The hymns were the funniest part– there are two signs with the hymn numbers in my chapel, one on either side of the room, and for whatever reason, they both had completely different hymn numbers! People were really confused… haha! As well, our organist (who is a little eccentric) was belting out the hymns louder than ever today! She always sings loudly as she plays, but today, as people were confused about the hymn numbers, she sang especially loud to make up for the lack of singing from the congregation. Seriously, she over sang all of us. I was so impressed. haha

We also had the missionaries over for dinner tonight, which was actually really nice. We haven’t had them over for a while–not since before Christmas I think– and we found out that one of the elders has been here for 9 months! That’s a crazy long time! I made a lovely roast in my slow cooker, and even had Yorkshire pudding, which I only make a couple of times a year as a treat. It was deeelicious. I think I am in love with my slow cooker. :)

Well… my essay season begins tonight. I have a paper due on Tuesday that I am determined to get underway this evening, in between visitors from the ward. Wish me luck!
