    New Blogging Goal*

I have decided to add one more goal of my list of resolutions: I want to write in my blog at least once for every single day of 2009. I started out writing my blog this way, but then life got in the way and I kept pushing it aside. But the thing is, I love writing, and I want to pursue that someday, so I’m going to try and leave something here every day. Looking Back on 2008*

I really wanted to write this post last night, but the Hubster and I ended up having a late dinner and watching one of my all-time favourite movies together, The Legend of 1900. So I thought I’d post a few tips / tricks / ideas that helped me get started. 1. Inspiration. Before I could really make a commitment to exercise I needed a good kick in the pants. When I went home in the spring I realized that I was the only member of my family that didn’t exercise on a regular basis. Big Dad is an avid tennis player and hits the gym almost even morning.…

    Back on Track*

I’ve been lazy. Since I started working a couple of weeks ago I’ve used it as an excuse not to exercise. Well, after being inspired by an entry in a friend’s blog about her perseverance towards her weight loss goal (and her revelation that she’s lost 20 pounds!!) and a further kick in my pants in the form of an email of one of my readers, I kicked my butt into gear and went for a run today. I normally run though the residential neighborhoods nearby, but today I decided to run on a high school track that’s not far from where I am. I find it’s easier to monitor…
