Oh goodness. This entire day just completely got away from me! This morning I loaded Ruby in the car and we took a drive up to Btown to spend the day with my family. I thought for sure that I’d have a few free minutes this morning to hammer this out, but it was just so busy. This is truly the season of giving. Last night my doorbell rang just before 8:30. I was upstairs, just about to slip into my jammies when I heard it, and a storm cloud immediately began brewing over my head. Ah, the holiday season. I’ve been as busy as a bee trying to complete all my Christmas prezzies as my family is having our Christmas a little early this year. The Hubs, Ruby & I will be heading to the Great White North to spend the holidays with my 97 year old Grandmother, so my immediate family won’t all be together. We thought it would be fun to get together for a day before so that we could at least all see each other and hang out during our favourite season. I love Sundays. For me, it’s a day unlike any other in the week. Let me explain: To most of the people I know, Sundays are just an extension of the weekend. A “Second Saturday”, if you will. Saturdays are typically for unwinding after a long week, and Sundays are great to run errands and prep for the week ahead. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
