Tomorrow.
We find out if we’re having a boy or a girl at 3pm TOMORROW. Of course I finally got a call for work and I’m sure it will be the longest day EVER.
I also have to drink an obscene amount of water and not pee. I may be dancing through my last period class… haha!

DO NOT drink as much as they tell you to!!!!! A bottle of water 30 to 45 mins in advance is plenty! All women learn this the hard way the first time and then when they call you in – late, of course, and doubled over in pain – they say you’re TOO full and could you pee just a little? Hmm, just a little more? Actually just empty your bladder. Oh no that’s too much now, sorry, can’t see the bits! Come back in a few weeks for a retry if your midwife can come up with an excuse to order a second one!
Use your judgement as to how much your bladder can hold, but they always tell you to drink way more than is necessary so don’t feel like you have to follow the instructions to the letter – not if you don’t want to feel like you’re going to explode on the table at least. They press hard!
