Last week I decided to take on a bit of a challenge with my thrift shopping. Jae, the voice behind How Not to Dress Like a Mom, reposted an article she had written about about breathing some life into a “neutral” wardrobe by adding in little splashes of colour. Most of the examples she used in her post were accessories, and I took a hard look in my closet. Snowmaggedon*
Snow, snow, snow, snow, snooowwwww! (Watch the above video. That sounds much better in harmony.) It’s all I’ve heard about for the last 24 hours, and the storm dubbed “Snowmaggedon” and “Snowpocalypse” by the Toronto Star has yet to make it’s grand appearance in Ontario. I’ve been watching it travel north all day–my friend in Illinois is stuck at work as they’ve already received 8 inches where he is–and it’s supposed to hit Toronto some time tonight. I have to admit, I’m a little excited. They are saying this storm is the biggest storm that we’ll have seen in a long, long time and I hope it doesn’t disappoint. I’m…
