It’s Woman Time*
Okay. Sooo… if you are of the male gender, you may not want to continue reading this post. :) I like sharing things with you. Whenever I find something I like, I tend to post about it or at least make mention of it. It’s usually a website, song, artist, band or food… but today I’m going a little more… personal. We all go through what I call “woman time”. I’ve never liked the other well-known names for it: period, rags, menstrual cycle, time of the month, etc etc– call it what you like. In any case, for women it’s about the most unbearable 4 – 7 days of the…

Adventures!
(You can click on pictures to enlarge them) Oh goodness. What a week this has been! I am on the most glorious adventure… and I simply cannot wait to tell you all about it! This week I decided to take on the capital city and visit the lovely Material Girl*. I’ve been here since Monday and have absolutely fallen in love with this city! I’m heading back to Senior’s City this afternoon and when I get there I will tell all my stories and become a real blogger again (sorry for my lack of posting…). So much to tell! Be excited. :) Shop Girl*

Morning News*
I love reading the news when I wake up in the morning. The first thing I see when I open my internet browser is CBC.ca news and I spend a few moments sifting through the headlines and reading about what’s going on in the world. Last week I was obsessed with that horrific Greyhound incident–it was terrible but I couldn’t stop reading. Sometimes the news–like that–is really sad or upsetting. But sometimes I read something that I think is absolutely amazing, like this morning. Vancouver women, I think you are awesome. Shop Girl*

Don’t ask. haha As close as we are now (cue “Sisters” from White Christmas), we weren’t always that way. In my family there are six children, and Spart and I are smack dab in the middle… and that usually means one of two things: as children, we were either best friends, or frenemies. And…

Getting in Shape*
As you know (if you’ve been reading recently) I’ve starting running on a regular basis in an attempt to force my ol’ body into some kind of shape. I’ve actually had a number of people tell me that they are interested in following my progress and learning about what I’m doing to tone my body and lose weight! Rather than inundating this blog with all that junk, I’ve decided to take up an old blog I started (and stopped) writing a few months ago and write all that stuff there! It’s where I’ll post my progress with running (time and distance), healthy food recipes and ideas, and just other tidbits…
