Tired. So very tired. I did make it out for a run today, and it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. I ran 2km in about 25 minutes, and while it was windy, it felt good to be out. Though my legs just happen to be screaming about the forced exercise right now. *sigh* As I’m utterly exhausted and my brain just died, I thought I’d leave you with an old email I found today. March Madness*
Sweet mother of pearl, I’ve done it! Two months of posting every. single. day. (Sick of me yet? ha). It’s been a marvelous journey and little bit of a comeback for me. I made a goal to post every day for a year two years ago, but I had failed miserably by February and gave up. Somehow, this time feels different. Tackling each month as I go seems so much more manageable… and every day that I post my drive to keep writing only increases. I have had the craziest week. Work is picking up again, I had several assignments due last night, and tonight we hosted a big activity for the youth program I am involved in. I tend to get very focused and stressed when I have a billion things to do in a short amount of time, and this week has been no exception. I had to speak at the activity tonight, and for days I’ve been trying to put together what I would say. Mario Kart Magic*
I would never call myself a “gamer”, but I’ve always kind of liked simple video games. I’m a monopoly addict on my blackberry, and I went through an obsessive Plants vs. Zombies phase over the Christmas holidays and throughout most of January. The Hubster has an Xbox 360 and has tried to interest me in games for that, but Feeding Frenzy is about the extent of my skill. Using one thumb to look one way, and another thumb to move in another is far too complex for me. It makes my brain hurt, and how on earth is that relaxing? Lil’ P-Nut*
Okay. I may be a bit behind on this one, but I recently saw this video and fell in love with this kid. Lil’ P-Nut is a 7 year old rapper with the best stage presence and manners I’ve ever seen. The video is absolutely hysterical, and this kid will steal your heart in about 5 seconds. LOVE. This kid is seven. I am so impressed right now that it’s not even funny.
