I like surveys. And as I was roaming through random blogs, I came across one that didn’t ask any obviously personal questions! So, here you are!
Explain what ended your last relationship?: Well, it wasn’t very serious (he wasn’t a member of my church) and I met the man who would become my husband only 7 and a half months later. :)
When was the last time you shaved? Umm… well, I was SUPPOSED to yesterday, but we woke up to no hot water which made for very quick showers. I think Thursday maybe?
What were you doing this morning at 8 a.m.?: Sleeping.
What were you doing 15 minutes ago? Waiting for it to be 9:30 so that I could call my principal to find out if I still have a job!! eeeeeeek.
Are you any good at math?: Hah. No.
Your prom night? I technically went to 3–none of them being “my” actual prom. My favourite was the prom of my very first high school with all my oldest friends. I had the best red dress from Gene* too. I looked smokin’ hot. haha
Do you have any famous ancestors? I’m actually not sure. Possibly, but I don’t know of any off the top of my head.
Have you had to take a loan out for school? OSAP and I are very good friends. :)
Do you know the words to the song on your MySpace profile? I no longer have an account there.
Last thing received in the mail? A wedding invitation! We’re already at 5 so far this summer. Oy evay.
How many different beverages have you had today? Just water.
Do you ever leave messages on people’s answering machine? Always. I like to let people know that I’ve called. And I like when people leave me messages. I don’t know why people would not leave a message if the option is available. It just doesn’t make sense to me.
Who did you lose your CONCERT virginity to? Johnny Cash, when I was 6 or 7!
Do you draw your name in the sand when you go to the beach? Usually. I’m one of those people.
What’s the most painful dental procedure you’ve had? Apparently my old dentist didn’t put my sealants on properly and I got cavities underneath them. It was NOT fun.
What is out your back door? A little balcony.
Any plans for Friday night? I think I’m going to play volleyball.
Do you like what the ocean does to your hair? It doesn’t bother me… it just makes it a little wavy.
Have you ever received one of those big tins of 3 different popcorns? No, I don’t like flavored or processed popcorn.
Have you ever been to a planetarium? No… but they sound neat.
Do you re-use towels after you shower? Yes… I was raised in a big family where there were never enough towels. haha
Some things you are excited about? HOPEFULLY continuing my job, going for a bike ride, cleaning my balcony now that the air conditioners are in, and the fact that there are LEAVES starting to bud on the trees!!
What is your favorite flavor of Jell-O? Red, with whipped cream.
Describe your keychain(s)? It’s a big’un. There is a blue lanyard attached to a large red caribbeaner (with a light on it–cool? I think so), and on that are smaller key chains. One set for my apartment on a chain that spells my name in letter blocks, one set for my parents house on a chain with a glow in the dark Fox 40 (rape) whistle, one set for my office on a chain with my ID card to go tanning, and my mail key, on a chain with a pink shoe. If my keys aren’t big, I lose them everywhere.
Where do you keep your change? Divided in containers on a shelf. A jar for pennies, a jar for nickels and dimes, a jar for quarters and a jar for toonies.
When was the last time you spoke in front of a large group of people? How large? I spoke quite a bit in seminar last week and that was in front of 30 people.
What kind of winter coat do you own? A great big down-filled puffy brown one that goes to my knees and has a huge (faux) fur hood. I LOVE it.
What was the weather like on your graduation day? From high school? I think it was nice. I can’t quite remember. I didn’t make a big deal about it. haha
Do you sleep with the door to your room open or closed? Open, so that I can hear everything going on outside (which is always hopefully nothing. haha)
