For the most part, I don’t enjoy lesson planning. I love teaching, but I don’t like the prepping part. It’s long, boring and tedious and usually not fun. Usually. I have been teaching a unit on climate in Geography–a subject I have not taken since I was in grade 9. It has been a big challenge for me as I am learning as I teach and most days I feel like I’m only staying about 5 minutes ahead of my kids.
