Oooh I’m right down to the wire tonight–I almost missed my daily post!! That’s because I have had an insanely busy, but awesome day.

I’ll be honest, when I woke up this morning I was so not looking forward to today. I loathe having class on Fridays. However, I dragged my tired body out of bed at 7am and was out the door by 9am and headed off to school. The only upside of having class on Fridays is that I get to see my wonderful teacher friends, whom I love love love. I seriously have met amazing people this year, and they make the stress of this year bearable!!

After class ended, I headed downtown to visit with Dee. I hadn’t seen Dee since before the Christmas break, so we were long overdue for a good visit. After a long heart-to-heart, we decided to do dinner together and invited the Hubster, Rufio and Dee’s brother to join us! We had a wonderful fajita dinner while watching Frasier (♥) and the old ’90s version of American Gladiators–complete with mullets, bad moustaches and horrible outfits. It was beautiful.

After we left Dee’s, the Hubster and I headed back to our place with Hot Rod and his girlfriend Missy to watch a Clint Eastwood movie. It was hilarious. I never knew you could say so much with a dirty look and a grunt… haha!!

You know, it’s funny… I forgot how much I loved going out and doing stuff with people. When I lived in the City my days were full of “house-hopping”–going from one friend’s apartment to the next to the next, and so forth–and we did stuff together allllll the time. I’ve become such a homebody over the past few years, but I’m starting to get back out there. And I love it!!

Lastly, I want to send out a huge congratulations to Cicada & Murray who had a baby boy last night, and to Maggie & Bear who also welcomed beautiful baby boy into the world this evening!! Sooo excited for all of you!!! xo

Well, I have a “student success” conference in the morning, so I should probably get myself to bed. Sweet dreams!!!
