Looking for New Music*

Busy busy busy.

Today I woke up early (after not getting nearly enough sleep because I stayed up waaaaaay too late playing Magic Pen) and went to work. There was another supply in the room today, and as much as I LOVE the teacher I work with, I almost really look forward to days when she isn’t there. When she isn’t there, the supply teachers really depend on me to run things as they don’t know the ins and outs of my class, so it ends up really boosting my confidence in the classroom! Today was one of those days. I hearted it. :)

After work I was supposed to go apply for a job. But I didn’t have my summer bus pass yet, and somehow spring disappeared and it got wickedly cold out again so I hibernated instead. haha! Seriously though–what the freak happened to the hot weather? My apartment was FREEZING this morning, and although I’m grateful that we didn’t get snow (like they did in Btown the day after I left) it’s still much too cold for my liking. This morning I wore a SCARF. And I had to put shoes on again. I hate wearing shoes. I am a flip flop girl. *sigh*

During my hibernation period I decided to be productive and did some spring cleaning. I now have TWO garbage bags of clothes and shoes to Freecycle which I think is pretty awesome. I’ve decided that if I haven’t worn it in the last year, then there is a good chance that I won’t wear it in the coming one. So, out it goes.

I also started the dreaded reformatting process. Thankfully, this is the first time that I have had to do it in months. I always enjoy my computer after it’s finished, but the process of doing it is rather tedious. You know, backing up all your files, wiping it clean, then reinstalling everything from scratch. I’ve been doing it for the past 5 hours and I’m just finishing now. While I was cleaning I realized that I don’t have much music anymore, and I would love to find some new artists to love! Does anyone have any suggestions? I love upbeat, hip hop / dance music, slower stuff like Adele or Sarah McLaughlin, and really a little of everything. I would loooooooove to know what you are listening to!

So, that has been my busy little day. I’m excited for my day off tomorrow for more cleaning out. I’ve gotten rid of so much stuff lately and I feel really good about it. Apparently I keep a lot of crap. haha!!
