My Productive Unproductive Day*
I had an extremely exciting day today: …I cleaned my apartment. The sad thing is, I’m so not even being sarcastic. haha! I love when things are clean… and my apartment has been a disaster zone for longer than I’m willing to admit. I knew teacher’s college was going to be busy, but nothing prepared me for the volume of coursework and in-class hours. Last week my days were so full I hardly had time to eat, let alone clean, cook, do laundry, or anything else. Thankfully the Hubster is WONDERFUL and has been picking up my slack. I still feel like I’m recuperating after getting only 2.5 hours of…

My Brain is Broken*
It has been a busy, busy week. I really can’t remember a time in my life when I have been this tired. I mean, last year with the applications and work and school that was hard, but it was nothing like the kind of exhaustion I am feeling now. There 2 weeks left until my first break since August… and thinking about everything that has to happen in those 2 weeks is enough to make me cry… hahahaha! I have 7 major assignments due, a midterm and Peeah’s wedding. I’m not planning on sleeping much. :) For the most part, I am still loving the program and what we’re doing…

September Disappeared*
I have absolutely no idea where September went. Somehow tomorrow is September 30th and I’ve already completed 5 weeks of school. That’s INSANE. If things keep going the way they are, I’ll be finished teacher’s college… next week. In my sense of time anyway. SO. I have news! After some help from Too Kool and the Hubs I may have found a way to make my blog more secure without losing my blog posts or being limited to a specified number of readers. They are helping me work on it right now, so I’ll let you know when it’s ready for your eyes. Be excited. I sure am. :) Let’s…

A Day In The Life…
Tonight I’m writing my first official “I’m writing in my blog to procrastinate work” post for the 2008 – 2009 school year. WOOOOO! haha I know that you all know that I’m in teacher’s college because I talk about it constantly, but I thought I’d give you a little snapshot into the day of an I/S (Intermediate / Senior) teacher candidate: 5:44am – Alarm goes off 5:47am – Roll out of bed without waking the Hubster 5:48am – Sit at my desk attempting to adjust my eyes to the light. (Yes, I wake before it is even light outside. How gross is that?) 5:50am – Jump (not literally, it’s more…

Busy, Busy, Busy*
Woooweee! Somehow a whole week has gone by and it’s almost bedtime on Saturday night again. My life in teacher’s college is highly enjoyable, but also rather insane. I’m gone almost every day from 7:30am to 7:30pm. When I finally get home, my evenings are filled with readings and assignments that I am actually doing this year–I’m trying the whole “good student” bit–which take me until nearly midnight, at which time I fall into bed, utterly exhausted. And then it begins all over again the next day! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining. I’m thrilled to have a space in the program… it’s just going to be a busy…
