Today would have been your first birthday.

The pain isn't as sharp anymore, but the ache is still there. We still think about you often. Your brothers and sister still ask about you. We haven't moved on, but we are trying to move forward.

How has it been sixteen years since I lived in a tiny dorm room at UTSC?! This was easily one of the best years of my life... I made some of my best friends this year AND I met and got engaged to M.

But seriously, 16 years?! How is that real?? Haha
