    Let’s Review*

As you know by my frenzied stressed-out posting earlier this week, I have just concluded my first week of teacher’s college and I can officially say that at this point in time… I love it. Last February I went through a bit of a crisis where I wasn’t even sure if teaching was the right path for me. The Hubster talked me through it and I decided to continue to move forward and see how I felt later in the year. When I finally received my first acceptance I expected to feel this overwhelming confirmation– that “YES! This is for me!” feeling –but I just didn’t have it. Not even…

    So. Very. Tired.

    I. am. so. tired. Holy mother of pearl… today was SO long. I had my first 8am class (ever) and had to be up at 5:30 in order to have time to shower, eat, get ready and make it on time (it takes an hour on the bus this week). That’s not SO bad, except that I had class all day and didn’t get home until 7pm or so. And I get to do it alllll again tomorrow. WOO! I still like my classes so far though. Keep your fingers crossed that they will stay good for me. haha I actually just wanted to write a quick post to let…

    Making it Last*

I started classes at my teacher’s college today. And while it was exciting to get the ball rolling and get things underway, in all honesty it didn’t REALLY feel all that different from my undergraduate classes! I’ll report more at the end of the week when I have a few more classes under my belt. But you know what is MOST exciting? From here on in, pretty well everything I do will be my “last” time doing it, at least in Senior’s City. For example: We just celebrated our last anniversary we’ll spend in this city. Today was my last “first day of school” as a student. This is our…

    Chapter Six* March Madness

As I begin school tomorrow, I thought it was a good time to pick up where I left off in Our Story*… I always need a good reason to procrastinate homework. :) I know it’s been a while–I’m sorry–but for those of you who have been patiently waiting I promise I’ll take you all the way to our wedding day in a few posts. If you’re just visiting my blog for the first time, for the past few months I’ve been slowly telling the story of how the Hubster and I met, fell in love and were married within 8 months from the day we met. You can catch up…

    Boooooo.

So remember that time I told you that I had a pretty ok schedule for next year? How I was disappointed to have two classes on Fridays, but that it was ok because I had Monday and Tuesday off? Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Two days ago I received my “revised” schedule. Apparently there was a glitch in the system and it had only posted less than half of our classes. My new schedule has me listed for 20 in-class hours, plus two placement days a week. I now not only don’t have any days off, but I have six straight hours of class on Fridays. With no break. *sigh* I’m already a little…
